Do I need coding skills to use Ownloop?

No. Ownloop is built for creators, not developers. You sign up, answer two short onboarding questions, and you can launch a giveaway funnel that captures subscribers into channels you control. There is nothing to install, host, or configure, and no code to write at any point.

Setting up a campaign is a guided flow: you name the giveaway, choose which channels people can enter through, set the prize and the end date, and publish. Ownloop hosts the entry page for you, so there is no site to maintain.

Everything after launch - entries arriving, subscribers building up, picking a winner - happens in the dashboard.

How is this different from link-in-bio tools?

Link-in-bio tools help you publish links. Ownloop helps you capture contacts. A link page sends followers somewhere and the visit ends; Ownloop turns that visit into an email address or a channel subscriber you can reach again directly, without depending on a feed or an algorithm.

The practical difference is what you are left holding. With a link page, your reach stays rented: if the platform changes its ranking, your audience becomes harder to reach and there is nothing you can do about it. With a captured subscriber list, you can message people directly whenever you choose.

Ownloop also runs the capture mechanic itself - giveaway funnels built to convert visitors into subscribers, rather than just counting clicks.

Can I import my existing audience?

Not yet. Ownloop captures new subscribers as they enter your giveaway funnels, and bulk importing a list you already own is not available today. What you can do is export: subscriber CSV export is included on every plan, so the audience you build here is never locked in.

If moving an existing list into Ownloop matters to your workflow, it is worth saying so before you subscribe, because the current product is built around capturing new subscribers rather than migrating old ones.

What happens if I cancel?

Cancelling stops future renewals. It takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and you keep full access until then. Export your subscribers by CSV before that date and the audience stays yours. You can cancel from your account settings at any time.

One thing worth knowing up front: cancelling does not trigger a refund for the current period. Ownloop subscriptions are billed in advance and fees already paid are not refunded for partial periods or unused capacity, so the practical move is to cancel before your next renewal date rather than just after one.

Because access ends when the paid period ends, export anything you want to keep while the account is still active.

Is there a free plan?

No. There is no permanently free tier - the entry plan is Starter at $6.99 per month. What there is instead is a 14-day free trial on the Creator and Pro plans, so you can run a real campaign before committing. Starter and Agency do not include a trial.

If your goal is to try the product properly rather than to stay free, Creator is the plan to start on, because it is the cheapest tier that carries the 14-day trial. Every plan including Starter captures on all three live channels, so what you gain higher up is scale rather than access.

Do you take a cut from creator revenue?

No. Ownloop never takes a percentage of your audience or sales. Pricing is a flat monthly subscription for the plan you choose, and what you earn from your audience is entirely yours. Your subscriber list is also yours - exportable by CSV on every plan, at any time.

This is the reason the subscription model matters: Ownloop is paid for the tool, not for a share of what the tool helps you make. There is no commission on sales, no fee per subscriber captured, and no cut of sponsorship or product revenue.

How is Ownloop different from Linktree?

Linktree and similar tools are built around publishing a link page. Ownloop is built around capturing subscribers into channels you own - Email, Telegram and Discord - so a visitor becomes a contact you can reach directly later, rather than a click you cannot follow up on.

Put simply, a link page distributes attention you already have. Ownloop is designed to convert that attention into an owned list, using giveaway funnels as the capture mechanic and giving you the subscriber data itself.

That changes what happens when a platform shifts. A link page depends on people finding it through a feed. A list you own does not.

Which channels can I capture subscribers on?

Three channels are live today: Email, Telegram and Discord. All three are included on every plan, starting with Starter - there is no channel paywall between the tiers. WhatsApp, Viber and Signal are on the roadmap and are not yet available on any plan.

What changes between plans is scale, not channels: Starter covers up to 1,000 subscribers and one giveaway funnel at a time, Creator raises that to 5,000 subscribers and five concurrent funnels, and Pro and Agency go further again with unlimited funnels.

WhatsApp, Viber and Signal appear on the roadmap as planned channels. They are listed so you can see where the product is heading, but no plan can currently run a campaign on them - choose a plan based on Email, Telegram and Discord.

Who owns the subscriber data I collect?

You do. Under Ownloop’s Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum, you are the data controller for the entrants and subscribers you collect, and Ownloop acts as your processor - handling that data on your instructions to provide the service, never for our own purposes, and never selling it.

In practice this means the decisions are yours: why the data was collected, what it is used for, how long it is kept. Ownloop processes it on your behalf under the DPA. If an entrant asks to access or delete their data, the request goes to you as the controller, and Ownloop supports you in answering it.

A separate role applies to your own account: for your account, billing and usage data, Ownloop is the controller. That split is set out in full in the Privacy Policy.

Is there a free trial?

Yes, on two plans. Creator and Pro both include a 14-day free trial. Starter and Agency do not. The trial starts when you add a payment method, and converts into a paid subscription after 14 days unless you cancel before the trial ends.

Because the trial runs on a real plan, you can use the period to launch an actual giveaway and see subscribers arrive, rather than clicking through a demo. Cancelling during the trial stops it converting.
